Google has released this map of where the anti-US protests and violence is occurring today which the White House says is the result of a 13 min. internet clip of mysterious authenticity. Is the WH now going to comment or restrict all crazy movies, YouTubes articles, cartoons, or books by anti-Muslim crazies or that critique Islam in any way (like the Denmark satirical cartoon) because they endanger US assets abroad (because extreme Muslims go berserk and kill people and burn buildings down)? Is this the new foreign policy of the Obama W.House? The WH has for example suggested YouTube and Google take the video down, which they have refused to do (but have restricted in some Muslim countries) [see here: http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/middle-east/7682960/Google-in-hot-water-over-Mohammad-clip]. Are we free or not? Will we stand up for the freedom to express what we think without intimidation and bullying?

John Stringer is a New Zealander (Christchurch) in his 40s married to an American from Taco Bell; they have 5 adult children in 3 diff. countries. There was a stint in London working for the British Conservative party as well, where he did media minding and campaign work with several Brit cabinet ministers, including Baroness Thatcher, Baroness Blatch, Michael Howard, Tom King, among others. He has an MA (classical studies, Victoria); is a graduate of the New York Film Academy; and has various awards for writing. His passions include British bulldogs, fly fishing, and history (Ancient and WWII).
Winston Churchill was mainly a “Conservative” but also a “Liberal” MP between 1900-1964. A Member of Parliament for 64 years, he contested 21 parliamentary elections (for Oldham, Manchester North West, Dundee, and Epping/Woodford). Throughout his career Churchill stood for liberty. He believed in open debate and freedom of speech, and opposed any system or ideology that tried to dictate the way one should think. Churchill felt deeply that disagreements within the democratic system should not degenerate into personal animosities.

It must be nice to have such a simple, unsophisticated view of how the world works, John. A world where you’re always right and any problems can be solved by the employment of massive armed strikes to show non-merkans the error of their swarthy ways. It’s one of the reasons Bush was such a runaway success as President and the world is now at peace.
Judge, I am not always right. GWB had two terms; America supported him despite the anti-Republican media scratched record. I do not support massive armed strikes, but the West has to stand up to an historic enemy that is attacking Western culture. Israel understands this (the most qualified to comment, as they live there and have endured 3 wars of invasion since after WWII). I also think my many posts show depth, fairness, and wide opinion. They are well-researched and engage the bread of the issues more than most blogs. Keep commenting, I enjoy and appreciate your feedback.
